TIPS FOR EXERCISE

Exercise is one of the most important things you can do for your health. It’s important to get some exercise every day, even if it’s just a few minutes. Even if you don’t feel like exercising, try to at least get some movement throughout the day.


Exercising doesn’t have to be intense or long; in fact, doing too much exercise can actually be bad for your body and lead to injury. The key is finding something that you enjoy doing and that will keep you motivated. You can also start with small changes like walking instead of riding the bus or taking a car ride, or even just taking stairs instead of an elevator when possible. Once you start making these small changes, it will be easier to continue making bigger changes over time.


It’s also important to listen to your body when working out; if your muscles are sore after exercising it might not be a good idea for you to continue that activity right away. If this happens, take at least a day off from exercising before trying again later on in the week (although this may depend on how sore your muscles are).

When exercising remember that intensity is not everything; consistency is key as well! Try to work out every day whether its for 5 minutes or an hour – just make sure that you are getting some movement in each day!
